Job Summary:
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you’ll play a vital role in our team by ensuring the efficient, timely, and accurate handling of accounts receivable accounts. This position involves managing collections, resolving billing disputes, and accurately applying payments to accounts receivable.

Job Responsibilities:
Maintain high standards in collections processes for various accounts receivable categories Resolve complex billing disputes by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders Identify reasons for non-payment and work with management to develop resolution plans Document and track customer interactions, ensuring follow-up on commitments Refer outstanding receivables to designated collection agencies when necessary Process daily financial transactions including lockbox deposits, cash/check transmittals, and credit card payments Assist in the credit application process and monitor customers’ compliance with credit policies Demonstrate a positive attitude and effective communication with colleagues and customers Continuously improve accounts receivable collections and credit processes Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Previous experience in accounts receivable collections is highly preferred High School Diploma required Minimum of 1 year of accounting and/or collections experience Proficiency in PeopleSoft, RPOS, Visual One, TREEV, Excel, Word, and Access Basic accounting knowledge including accounts receivable aging reports, journal entries, and reconciliations Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent oral communication skills and comfortable working with multiple computer systems
Total Compensation for this role ranges from $20.00 – $24.49 per hour. Individual compensation decisions are based on various factors.
