About the role and what makes it special:
- Use internal data and reporting tools to identify fraudulent or suspicious activity
- Obtain risk-related data from external sources
- Conduct manual AML and KYC checks as required
- Verify KYC and authenticate documents
- Initiate account investigations and draft fraud reports for escalation
- Aid in data collection and analysis to resolve chargeback and patron complaints
- Collaborate seamlessly with a remote team in real time
- Work closely with our Customer Service team to address patron inquiries or payment/fraud issues
Who you are:
- Have at least 1 year of experience in a fraud and payments role with increasing responsibility
- Comfortable navigating through large volumes of data
- A problem solver capable of making real-time decisions
- Familiar with payment processes and procedures
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays
Bonus points if you have:
- Previous experience in the sports/gaming or fintech industry
- Worked in a startup environment before
We’re targeting a compensation range of $65,000 to $80,000 for this role, depending on your experience, plus equity. Think you bring exceptional skills to the table? Apply anyway! We’re open to negotiation if we see eye to eye.
Please note: This position may require sports betting licensure based on certain state regulations.
