About the Position

The Enrollment Advisor is a pivotal role, responsible for building and nurturing relationships with new and existing candidates. You will guide them through the enrollment process, helping them to develop a plan for successful progression into our program. With a deep understanding of our tools and resources, you will leverage your genuine care and curiosity to identify needs and solutions, troubleshoot issues, and encourage optimism and determination on their path to success. This position supports candidates from multiple states, requiring you to learn certification requirements for various locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Relationship Building: Skilled in developing strong relationships and active listening.
  • Candidate Communication: Engage with candidates via telephone, email, and live chat to build rapport and assist with the application and enrollment process.
  • Certification Guidance: Communicate effectively to determine candidates’ certification goals and how our program can help them achieve these goals.
  • State Expertise: Become a subject matter expert on state and program requirements, effectively communicating program features and benefits to encourage enrollment.
  • Needs Assessment: Utilize your skills in needs assessment to problem-solve and support candidates’ progression through the enrollment process.
  • Customer Service: Maintain a high level of customer service, a positive working attitude, and collaborate with team members as needed.
  • Task Management: Manage day-to-day tasks related to supporting and tracking potential and current candidates’ progress.
  • Documentation: Ensure policies, procedures, and communications are well-documented in candidate accounts.
  • Account Review: Regularly review accounts to provide clear and updated information to candidates.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the back office/fulfillment team to communicate transcript needs and requirements to candidates.
  • Business Relationships: Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Core Values: Act in accordance with Teachers of Tomorrow’s core values.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as needed.

What We are Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from a leading university with academic excellence or commensurate experience in an educational or professional administrative capacity preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years in a heavy customer service or sales-oriented position.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, active listening, action-oriented, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Cultural Contribution: Ability to positively contribute to organizational culture.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
