Position Overview

Become a Financial Representative at Jack Henry, where you’ll assist customers with a range of financial needs on behalf of our banking and credit union clients. This role offers hands-on experience with various software products and opens doors to career advancement opportunities within our organization. This position is remote across the US, but candidates within 30 miles of our Springfield, MO, or Monett, MO offices will work onsite.

Start Date: July 22, 2024
Training Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3 PM – 8:45 PM CT for the first 6 weeks
Annual Salary: $34,320 – $37,500

  1. PT 5×5: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM CT (Mon, Thu, Fri) & 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM CT (Sat, Sun)
  2. PT 5×4: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM CT (Mon, Tue) & 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM CT (Sat, Sun)
  3. PT 4x5x8: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM CT (Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri) & 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CT (Sat)
  4. PT 5×5: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM CT (Mon, Wed, Thu) & 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM CT (Sat, Sun)
  5. PT 5×5: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM CT (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) & 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM CT (Sat)
  6. PT 5×5: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM CT (Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri) & 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM CT (Sat)
  7. PT 3×8: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CT (Mon) & 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CT (Sat, Sun)

Responsibilities

  • Customer Assistance: Provide over-the-phone support similar to a personal banker for our financial institution clients.
  • Issue Resolution: Assess and resolve various customer inquiries and issues promptly.
  • Security: Verify customer information to maintain system security before making any modifications.
  • Communication: Relay customer needs and expectations to the appropriate personnel, following escalation procedures for complex issues.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Schedule Adherence: Ability to adhere to a published break and lunch schedule.
  • Calm Under Pressure: Remain composed in stressful situations.
  • Technical Navigation: Comfortable navigating multiple systems while assisting customers.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and understandably.
  • Availability: Must work assigned schedules in a 24/7 call center, including nights, weekends, and holidays (closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas).
  • Internet Requirements: Must have a download speed of at least 10 Mbps (25 Mbps if shared) and an upload speed of at least 1.5 Mbps.

  • Multi-tasking Skills: Ability to handle multiple inquiries efficiently.
  • Empathy: Ability to listen and empathize with customers.
  • First Call Resolution: Use tools effectively to resolve issues on the first call.
  • Self-Motivation: Take initiative on your career path.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in call centers, banking, or credit unions.
