We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Per Diem-Allied-Sterile Processing Tech to join our team. This position is responsible for the cleaning, disinfecting, assembling, and sterilizing of surgical instruments and equipment to ensure a safe and sterile environment for patient care.

Responsibilities
- Follow established procedures and protocols for cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment
- Inspect instruments and equipment for damage or defects and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and restock as needed
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment according to manufacturer’s instructions
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all sterilization processes
- Collaborate with surgical team to ensure timely availability of sterile supplies and equipment during procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Sterile Processing Technician program
- Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST) preferred
- Previous experience working in a sterile processing department
- Knowledge of infection control standards and sterilization techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and protocols
