**Job Description:**
As an Auto Appraiser, you will play a crucial role in the vehicle insurance claim settlement process. Your primary objective will be to provide fair market value assessments for vehicles potentially deemed as total losses. Utilizing resources such as Kelly Blue Book and NADA, you will conduct research on the loss vehicle and generate unbiased valuation reports based on comparable vehicles. Your responsibilities will include:
– Researching comparable values via online platforms and outbound calls.
– Generating fair market valuation reports according to customer specifications.
– Maintaining technical expertise in systems and industry standards.
**Qualifications:**
– High school diploma.
– Typing speed of 35+ WPM.
– Knowledge of insurance/automotive industry preferred.
– Strong analytical and math skills.
– Proficient in web-based research tools.
– Attention to detail and capacity to learn.
– Minimal affinity for vehicles, recognizing types, configurations, and options.
– Ability to work on complex assignments with judgment.
**Experience:** Less than 2 years of related experience.
**Supervision:** Works under close supervision.
