The Role
Donorbox is on the lookout for a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Part-Time Remote Community Engagement Associate. This role focuses on engaging with the nonprofit community through various online platforms and networking with professionals in the sector. It’s an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing a degree in Nonprofit Management or a related field, offering valuable experience and flexible hours to accommodate academic schedules.
Responsibilities
- Engage in Online Forums: Actively participate in forums such as LinkedIn, Facebook groups, Reddit, Quora, and nonprofit association forums. Share relevant resources, join discussions, and provide insights to establish Donorbox as a thought leader in the nonprofit sector.
- Network with Nonprofit Organizations: Build and nurture relationships with nonprofit organizations and professionals across different regions. Engage proactively with potential customers, understand their needs, and demonstrate how Donorbox can support their fundraising efforts.
- Social Media Engagement: Monitor and respond to online reviews and social media posts related to Donorbox. While not managing social media, you’ll actively engage with followers, address inquiries, and foster positive interactions to enhance brand reputation.
- Attend Webinars/Seminars: Attend monthly webinars and seminars tailored to nonprofit audiences. Participate actively in chats, share insights from sessions, and identify opportunities to connect with attendees and promote Donorbox’s solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Background in Nonprofit Management, Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and online forums.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Passion for the nonprofit sector and a desire to make a positive impact.
Details
- Location: Fully remote, based in the United States
- Hours: Part-time (~15 hours per week)
- Hourly Rate: $20-$27, based on experience and location
