About the Role
As Blue Bottle continues to evolve the traditions of coffee and hospitality, our Total Rewards Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting our growth. You’ll be responsible for administering and enhancing our Total Rewards programs, contributing to broader team initiatives, and supporting our scaling efforts.
This is a remote-based position requiring employees to reside in one of the following metropolitan areas:
- The San Francisco Bay Area
- Los Angeles
- San Diego
- Boston
- Chicago
- Washington, DC
- New York City
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer global compensation programs, including market data reviews, annual merit cycles, and various incentive plans.
- Develop and maintain Total Rewards policies and procedures, ensuring scalable and organized systems.
- Partner with the Sr. Manager, Global Compensation to provide recommendations on job grading and leveling, analyzing both external market data and internal compensation information.
- Manage job architecture, including grades, positions, ranges, and job descriptions, ensuring data integrity in the HRIS system.
- Provide technical and analytical support, gaining expertise in compensation and benefits administration.
- Assist with benefits data feeds, leave of absence queries, open enrollment, and audit/reporting tasks.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and hospitality in every interaction with fellow Blue Bottlers.

Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a Total Rewards or HR analytics role; retail or hospitality industry experience is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Google Sheets/Excel and Google Suite.
- Experience with HRIS and benefits systems (e.g., UKG/Kronos Workforce Ready).
- Discretion and tact in handling sensitive information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to exercise excellent judgment and discretion.
