Opportunity Awaits: Account Executive Role

We’re currently seeking a dynamic Account Executive (AE) to join our team, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Acquisition. This role is pivotal in establishing and nurturing partnerships with property management companies, particularly those not yet listed with us. As a hunter role, the AE will spearhead prospecting efforts to meet set quotas and foster enduring collaborations across departments.

Your Role in Our Journey

As an integral part of our team, you’ll:

  • Cultivate and expand relationships between Apartment List and rental properties, leveraging your expertise to secure new business.
  • Collaborate remotely with marketing directors and regional property managers within your assigned territory, ensuring personalized attention and competitive outcomes.
  • Develop demand generation strategies to support team growth, consistently meeting sales targets.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline, leveraging Salesforce and other tools for effective sales management.
  • Support account implementation and performance management post-sale, ensuring seamless transitions and client satisfaction.

Qualifications and Expectations

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in outside or remote (inside) sales, preferably within the multifamily industry.
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales goals and driving results.
  • Detail-oriented, competitive mindset with a proactive approach to client and team success.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Salesloft is advantageous, with a willingness to adapt to our proprietary tools.
  • Strong communication skills and a systematic approach to sales processes, from prospecting to closing.

  • Here’s the Pay Range:
    We carefully consider a variety of factors to determine compensation for each position, including the role, level, and work. The compensation ranges for this position vary based on location.
    • In a Zone 1 location, the compensation range is $95,000 – $120,000 OTE (base salary range: $47,000 – $60,000) + equity.
    • In a Zone 2 location, the compensation range is $88,000 – $110,000 OTE (base salary range: $44,000 – $55,000) + equity.
    • In a Zone 3 location, the compensation range is $80,000 – $100,000 OTE (base salary range: $40,000 – $50,000) + equity.
    Please note, the compensation details reflect base salary only and do not include bonus, benefits, and perks that we offer.
