**Responsibilities:**

As a Patient Call Representative at SCA Health, you’ll play a vital role in assisting patients with their inquiries and providing them with exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include:

– Handling inbound and outbound calls from patients.
– Resolving patient inquiries promptly and striving for one-call resolution.
– Following up on escalated inquiries or those requiring additional research.
– Ensuring timely responses to patient voicemails within 24 hours.
– Educating patients on understanding their Explanation of Benefits (EOB).
– Processing patient payments and providing requested documentation and records.
– Meeting defined metrics consistently.
– Reviewing contracts with insurance companies and determining necessary adjustments or refunds.
– Verifying insurance, providing patient estimates, and updating demographic information.
– Researching and locating missing payments, and reviewing clinical information as needed.

**Qualifications:**

– High school diploma or GED required.
– Strong customer service experience preferred.
– Experience in accounts receivable, billing, insurance verification, or customer service is advantageous.
– Previous healthcare experience is preferred.
– Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

**Compensation:**

– Starting at USD $20.00 per hour, with the potential to earn up to USD $28.00 per hour.
